I'd say the only reason Trixie is winning is because Twilight doesn't want to fight her. Or they're taking turns flinging attacks at each other. |

That could be it, they're doing some sparring practice to help Trixie learn to use practical magic. I like to think of Trixie as a magically talented but untrained amateur, who is good at creating images and illusions. Why else would she go into an entertainment field? |
