The implication is that Rainbow is using an elemental lightning kick, but NMM moves and it just tears up her mane. I based it off the Buccaneer Blaze move, which is only once mentioned and never actually shown, but seems to involve lightnings.
...I guess you could interpret it as RD or Twilight using a lightning attack though, but then the shred of NMM's mane stuck under RD's hoof doesn't make sense. XD Rarity was supposed to have a Wind aura, and AJ a Flame aura, but it messed up the picture too much, so they got cut. |

Speaking of colors, for anyone wondering where are the Blue, Red, or Green rangers: RGB is an old color format. CMYK is all the rage nowadays. :) |
