I don't hate Gilda. I think she's a really different character from the show's normal direction.
That being said, I dislike her for making my favourite pony cry. Crying ponies are sad no matter what. |

I guess she has a case for redemption. She was only trying to hang out with her best mate from the academy. And knowing her temperament, she probably didn't make any other friends after Dash left.
Pinkie really didn't leave her alone much during the episode. |

Fluttershy is a piece of shit, in my unique, educated opinion; I honestly DO NOT see a person who is/used to be into the anime and have been overdosed by the KAWAII MOE UGUU archtype characters and only like her because they remind them of... those stupid fan-service types...
I have tried again and again to like Fluttershy, but she has been giving me no reason to not call her anything but a bipolar attention whore. |

I do like Gilda but that might just be from fanon stating that Rainbow Dash was her ONLY friend
and now she's all lame and friendless. Also I'd like to see an episode where she redeems herself. Perhaps where Pinkie / Rainbow Dash is super suspicious and keeps trying to catch Gilda doing bad things thinking she's her old self. Hijinx naturally ensue |

I like Gilda. So she made Fluttershy cry, so she stole things, so she's a total dick - compared to all the fuckin' friendship-happy, nice-all-time, non-confrontational characters in the show, she's a stand out. And, yeah, I get that the show is about friendship, and reinforcing positive values that are good for kids - that fact doesn't escape me. I like Gild because she's the antithesis of all of that. She brings to the show a much needed contrast, much like Discord and Trixie did. I'd rather see more episodes of Gilda acting like a douche, than see more talking background ponies... or... actually, maybe I want them about the same... Talking Vinyl and Octavia sounds kinda cool. |

^Have you even watched the right show? Theirs almost always some kind of conflict involveing the main charectors in eatch episode. Even fluttershy has had her not-so-nice moments. |
