I think the right term would be background pony. Sure he's no Lickety Split or Junebug but definitely not an OC. He comes with his own CM as well. The only thing that's not official is his name as that's fan made. |

hahaha I love how they rage about the "force" shipping of twilight because of the hypocrisy of it all seeing that all the ships are forced.
Don't you dare to ship lyra/octavia/derpy/etc with someone else because the jump at you. About the OC thing Heinous is right though, this new one is basically a semi-oc because he's just a bg pony. But that is the beauty of it because if you remember Derpy used to be an OC but we the community were the ones to give her a life and personality. The same can be said about every single popular bg character out there, and this is one of the reasons this fandom grew like it did. |

I never knew Caramel was Apple Family. I thought there was only 4. AJ, Applebloom, Bic Mac and Granny Smith.
The extended family in first episode was just visiting for the holiday and Caramel wasn't even there. |
