I really would like to see what kind of animated gifs you guys can come up with. In fact here, here's a website where you can just make gifs willy nilly (up to 50 frames max)

@912521 yeah, it treats every layer as a separate frame. just set them up in the progression you want and save as a gif. in the layer name you can specify for how long you want the frame to stay by adding (xms) where x is the time it'll be onscreen in miliseconds, then you also have to add (replace) or (combine) i think, so that the layers dont overlap and draw the topmost one all the time. i've also seen this (!) in some gifs, but i've no idea what it does.
...it'll prolly be best if you found a tutorial on the net, though XD |

@912521 there's a little bar with "select file type" towards the bottom of the save window. Expand with the arrow and type GIF. |
