Dammit, Pinkie, why do you have to make me feel so sexually confused?

Oh, who the fuck am I kidding... I really don't mind at all, Pinkie. :)

You know, Doctor, I've seen a lot of text from you regarding Pinkie's impact on your sexuality.
"Confused" is not a word I'd ever have used.

Remember. If it can talk, it can give consent.

Well, it is pretty confusing, even now, lol. I don't mind, but it still does seem strange being able to find something like this in any way enticing; and I find this enticing in a few ways.

@046: Well, for the most part.

I've used a phrase for some time now. It elevates it out of confusion.
"A lack of morphological bias".
You are attracted to the ego; to the intelligence and the demeanor and the interaction. To the emotional, (somewhat) rational, being that she expresses. To what makes her Pinkie Pie.
That she is, physically, not dissimilar to an equine isn't automatically relevant. She's still mammalian.
In this case, she's rendered in an enticing fashion. If you weren't already into Pinkie or ponies, it probably wouldn't be. But your brain fills in the gaps with her nature and makes it appealing, be she on four legs or two.
As long as you still like human girls it's not even a fetish. It's like an anti-fetish. It's an openness to finding attraction by personality above all other concerns.

A lot of it is her personality, yeah. I guess as long as an intelligent creature is still aesthetically pleasing in one way or another, human features don't necessarily matter.

I'd be curious to see if it proved to be the case in real-life situations. Such a shame that humans are the only sapient animals on the planet, and we'll only get to test it out if aliens show up or we develop AI.

yeah, that's the other border. it's not just the ability to communicate - consent also requires a certain level of understanding. it's why children can't sign contracts, for instance.

and for these ponies it's kind of murky, depending on who you talk to and how you measure it. in their culture? they're adults and there's zero question on the matter. but reckoning by human standards of common sense and experience... one estimate by a production team member put them in their teens.

the real problem with throwing away morphological bias is that we have all these cultural yardsticks and fences that inform us when "yes" can be trusted as consent, and when it's from someone who might not know any better. and those yardsticks and fences are smashed to pieces when you have people who are physically mature and considered adults in their own culture, but mentally still in high school.

*shrug* I can't say exactly what I think on the matter. Just that I think Pinkie Pie is kickin' rad and these kinds of discussions are interesting to have.
