Most Ponies don't realize that Derpy was referenching Applejack from generation 1. She really sounded like that and was pretty klutzy. So I don't mind it one bit! |

Well, some people think they overdid it. Our fanon version was a clumsy but devoted friend and mother, but the show portrayed her as an incompetent, destructive idiot with a stereotypically "dumb" voice. Somehow, that opinion is extremely offensive to some people. |
