There's some debate amongst his name.....his Cutie Mark is a blue star (http://ponibooru.413chan.net/post/view/117051), so I'm retracting my previous votes of Tagme and voting for BlueStar.
I'm posting this in hopes of us finally agreeing on a name. Personally, I think Millhooves sounds ridiculous. |

In any case, I'm completely against calling him 'Blue Star' just because of his cutie mark, and that's because ponies are not named for their cutie marks EVER. They are born and given a name then. When they're older they learn their special talent and gain their cutie mark. So naming background ponies completely and utterly based on their cutie marks is just fucking stupid. If Pinkie Pie was a background pony you'd be calling her 'Balloon Ass' or something to do with balloons. While a few ponies (CANON ponies) do have names that are their cutie marks, Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara for instance. They're rather narcissistic and all that. So I'm not surprised they'd have cutie marks like that. Other ones, such as Carrot Cake is likely down to a self-fulfilling prophecy, or his parents were bakers and he took over the family business. Even so, his cutie mark looks like just a bunch of generic cakes. Man, I've written way too much for some pointless argument over the internet. |
