Cloven hooves are common on unicorns in a lot of mythological artworks from what I've heard. |

indeed, but those go with the picture of unicorns not not being horses with horns, but merely their own kind of creature. these usually have a long tail with a tuft at the end and hare-like snouts.
from what i gather, the alicorns in mlp go into the direction of horses in appearence, so the cloven hooves strike as odd |

I honestly never new about it really. I just told CL she could leave out the usual hoof covers they have and she just choose to do the hooves that way and others commented about the history of it in the stream. |

Sad that CL don't do 2 version of pics :/ thumbnail was promising but then suddenly futa Icehawk you are one crazy guy ;p If I didn't have mass of exams in this week I would try to "edit" this to nonfuta version but it have to wait ~_~ maybe someone else will do it faster I wonder if someone ever commissioned something nonfuta from CL :O |

Vast majority of CLs commissions are non futa and she does tons of normal and non futa pics as well. Anyone who follows her SFW tumblr would know that. CL is pretty much exclusively working on commissions at the moment aside from the occasional Ask futashy updates. Most of her commissions have been kept private by their owners though, which is why you haven't seen as much in the way of SFW or non futa from her recently. |
