Um, no it isn't. Twilight and Mac works a lot better, they've interacted and there's definitely a lot more there to provide a solid ship for them. Rarity and Big Macintosh would have a much more interesting relationship and their two personalities together is an archetype and trope based on several classic films and novels- the rich girl and the farm or lower-class boy. Plus they'd bring out eachothers' best and it would also make Rarity's relation with AJ and Sweetie's relation with Applebloom more interesting. Fluttermac is nothing. |

Those words simply do not recognize, Spitfire. While I do see your point about Rarimac, Fluttermac is far from "nothing" as you so callously put it. There is irresistible appeal in the two most soft-spoken characters on the show being able to share themselves with each other, at least in my mind. When I see them together, it just seems right. Besides, this is all silly speculation anyway. We could put Mac with almost any character, and it would sorta-kinda work. You're trying to apply logic to the realm of romance, and they simply do not fit. Love is not something that can be controlled or planned. None of this is ever going to happen anyway, so let's just like the ships we like and agree to disagree. |
