Rebel=/=Racist. The south's economy was, at the time, depended upon cotton and slaves, not only that, but we didn't have tariffs to protect the southern economy, so the south couldn't export anything other than cotton to make a profit. Slavery was wrong, but in the end, it was the south protecting it's economy that led to war. I personally believe that war would have never come if the north didn't make the south's economy depended upon slaves, there would still be haters, but it would not get to war. |

Main problem with having the CSA here is that the CSA was never a country. Wasn't recognized, by either the U.S. or any of the other countries here.
Besides, I can't really see AJ as a traitorous kinslaying slaver. Doesn't really seem like her style. Now, Australia could work quite well -- it has the hats, for one thing! And it was pretty much on the edge of the known world when the British popped in anyway. Zecora's rings and African-styled accoutrements suggest she would be associated with the Ndebele, whose women are among the few South African tribes to wear neck rings. They would be from South Africa. |
