And now it's time for Bum Reviews with Chester A. Bum.
Tonight's Review: My Little Pony: The Last Round-Up. OOOOOOOOOOOH MY GOD THIS IS THE GREATEST EPISODE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! My Little SPOILERS! There's this pony, named Applejack! And she's like the GREATEST RODEO PONY I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! She's won first place in every rodeo she's been to! And so one day she decides to go to the biggest rodeo in Canterlot! And so the ponies of Ponyville throw a huge send-off party for her before she leaves! And then, while they're setting up the decorations it turns out that Dərpy Hooves broke up the town hall, so Applejack promises that she'll use her winnings to fix it up! -I- vandalized the town hall, once! I have anger issues. But then there was like the greatest moment I've ever seen in my life! Dərpy TALKS! I'm totally sure I wasn't high! She actually talks! She sounds like... like pretty much how you expect her to sound like! And they even addressed her as "Dərpy"! I was so happy, I went out and smoked some Smarties during the next commercial break! So anyway, Applejack goes off to Canterlot, where the rodeo is! And then a week later, when she's supposed to come back, she doesn't! -gasp- She just sent a letter saying that she's not coming back and she'll wire the money to Ponyville soon! And everypony is like: "What could have happened? Did she get ripped off and blow her winnings on roulette? Did she get mugged? Did she get converted to Pastafarianism and give all of her winnings to the Flying Spaghetti Monster?" Nopony knows! So the five friends go to Canterlot to try to find out! But it turns out Applejack -isn't- in Canterlot! She went to some old west town! And I'm like: "Yay, we get to see Appleoosa again!" But it's a different town. Horrou So they find Applejack working at a Cherry farm! And Applejack's like: "Uh... heh, hey guys..." And the others are like: "Why didn't you come back to Ponyville?" "Oh, you know...wanted a change of scenery... wanted to try cherries..." I think she got Discorded again! Why else would she continue to be such a terrible liar? But I digress. So the friends try everything they can do to get Applejack to tell them why she didn't come back to Ponyville! And when asking nicely doesn't work, they go to their last-ditch idea: Torture! -I- tortured somepony for information once! You're damn right I found a pile of change from that guy! So they send Pinkie Pie to be as annoying as she can be! And I mean it, I didn't think she was that annoying before, but here... she went all-out! So Applejack finally gives in and says she'll tell them at breakfast tomorrow! But she's not at breakfast the next day! So there's this big chase scene! And along the way, Pinkie Pie and Rarity fall out of their carriage and are left behind because they'd lose Applejack otherwise! So finally, they catch up to her! And Rainbow Dash tackles her, spilling out the contents of her bags! And it turns out Applejack didn't win first place in anything at the rodeo, and she was so ashamed of it that she didn't want to face anypony in Ponyville about it! Especially after she promised she'd donate her winnings to fix the hole in the Town Hall's roof! But the others are like: "Oh, Applejack, we still love you even if you had come in last place!" And Fluttershy says the sweetest thing! She says: "Applejack! We can always find a way to fix that hole in the roof! But if you don't come back, we'll never be able to fix the hole in our hearts!" -sniff- It was so emotional! It even made Rainbow Dash cry! And so they all go back to Ponyville, where Applejack is welcomed home by her family! The End! So I really liked this episode! Even though I was diasppointed with Dərpy. She didn't enter a polygamous marriage with me and Luna like in that fanfic I wrote! But I digress. This is Chester A. Bum saying, CHANGE! YA GOT CHANGE? Ah, come on, help a guy out, will ya? Come on, change! Well at least get me some carpentry lessons! I'll work to get change fixing the roof of town hall! And I think it'll get me in touch with Dərpy, too... Seriously, though, this episode was great. And not just because of Dərpy. |
