@ CogWeaver: I've been seeing FlutterMac pictures get hate bombed ever since the synopsis came out, and I still have yet to get a reason WHY it is justified to not just leave people be over the issue (because the people doing it apparently have more information about the episode than everyone else does). If you have a different conclusion for why it has been happening, I'd honestly, sincerely like to hear it. |

^The way I see it, the only reason they're hate-bombing those pictures are because they know doing so will ignite a shitstorm of people trying to protect their picture while others side with whoever's doing the hating.
Basically: Trolls. And as I've called a few out on it in previous times (not for the sake of the pic they were hating on, but simply for the sake of their stupidity), a good amount of the "information" about the ep that we apparently don't have is just boiled down to them rubbing the fact that the synopsis exists at all in other people's faces. They act like it's already happened, and yet it hasn't. This also ties back to the general problem of people not being able to distinguish a middle ground between being for something or against something. That middle ground being, we don't know because the episode hasn't happened yet. If it's true and FlutterMac (or any other ___xMac pairing) is dead, GREAT! Now we can side with all of the ones that believed it would happen from the beginning! But if not, fine - we can then still go about our merry way ignoring stupid and unoriginal trolls doing what we've been doing since shipping became an option within this fandom. |
