Agreed. Have her drop in for maybe 12 seconds, just long enough to irritate a pony, say "oops," grin and leave.

Derpy dropping lines needs to be like a beautiful meteor shower: It doesn't occur often.
Appearances are all well and good, but make her feature more and more prominently in episodes with lines and she'll start to lose her appeal. But, then again, the same can be said about any of the characters. I reckon we've been spoiled sick with Rarity and Dash episodes. I wish to savour the exotic tones of a Fluttershy episode |

I'm not worried, they have yet to take things in a bad direction. If rare Derpy: Great. We get to savor each special tiny bit. If constant Derpy: Great. We get tons more to enjoy.
I'm not seeing this go in a negative direction either way. |
