Yet to those who will complain;
Stop. We, the bronies of the Internet managed to design and construct a single, unique character. We named her, gave her personality and family, and brought her forth into the show we love. Do. Not. Complain. So maybe some things aren't what you like. Big deal. Those specific points are actually fairly easy to explain. Her voice? She now HAS one. Good enough for me. If you really must, say she had a cold or something. Dinky? Well, Luna Eclipsed shows that the animators acknowledge the connection between Derpy and Carrot Top. Dinky being with her can be explained as she looks after Dinky since Derpy is so clumsy. The colt? Derpy's husband, brother, son, third cousin, whatever you want. Or Carrot Top's for that matter. Whichever, it can be made to work. Her mentality? She's clumsy. Not retarded, not disabled or impeded. Clumsy. Seriously. Now that that's out of my system, thanks to everyone who made her who she is. We rock. |

Now THIS is good.
The producers gave us a shout-out, they gave Derpy her name and they even gave her five or six short sentences to speak. That's a good achievement and some people have to complain about the name and the voice? Come on... That's like a slap in the face. |
