I think originally Dinky just looked similar, so fanon was Derpy and Dinky were related. Fanfiction rooted the theory and it's hard to think of them as not related. This is becoming a regular Zelda Timeline it seems... |

I don't get it. If it was always fanon that Carrot Top is a friend of Derpy's family, why is everyone suddenly assuming that Carrot is Dinky's mother, instead of just a friend? |

I don't think Sparkler is related to Dinky nor Tootsie Flute.
She's part of the brother/sister program and therefore could be with the random kid at the park and run with Dinky at the race. It makes sense if you think about it. Of course Carrot Top is Dinky's mom, since Sparkler isn't related it's pretty irrelevant who's her mother. |

Dinky + Sparkler, sisters This much did happen in Sisterhooves. However, making Sparkler or Carrot a mother seems to be pushing it. They both seem to be around the same age as the mane cast. |
