Scientists refer to it as empathy. That's not to say, of course, that you're not really fucking gay. You don't come across as a really fucking gay guy, though. |

The fact that it only happens with guys makes sense anthropologically. If a guy is crying, your instinct indicates there's a reason for guys to cry. You, being a guy, react by crying.
A girl crying triggers different impulses. I guess an impulse of protection, or you may take her crying as a sign of predators nearby. We are social animals after all. We are bound by the kinship system, except we now see the entire humanity as our tribe. |
