Derpy's destruction of town hall finally pushed the state to deem her an unworthy parent, so her fanon friend Carrot Top volunteered to escort Dinky to live with her uncle in Canterlot while Derpy fights the legal battle to regain the right to raise her daughter.

Bullsh*t, Derpy has always caused random damage. Why do haters suddenly feel justified to dislike her because canon acknowledged her as a ditz? We've been doing idiot Derpy forever, hallooo? Anyway, just looking at the pictures, Carrot doesn't seem like the mother. It looks as if her Dad is telling her to behave around Carrot and Carrot to take good care of her. Now maybe Carrot is only a less dominating mother, but child behavior is usually looking at the parent figure automatically but be more relaxed around non-parent friendly adults, so I see Carrot more as an auntie figure here taking Dinky on a holiday or relatives or something. |

Of course, you realize that there's an easy explanation for all this. Derpy's job keeps her on the go all the time. This makes it difficult to act as a proper parent to Dinky. With this in mind, Derpy asked Carrot Top to help out when she could.
With this in mind, I can easily see Dinky calling her "Auntie Carrot Top." |
