Canonically, Pinkie is Pinkamena's nickname. In fanon, Pinkamena is the emponiment of terror and bloodlust.
Ditzy Doo is not the emponiment of terror and bloodlust. |

Ditzy is an unknown pegasi who has yet to appear onscreen. If any pony could be Ditzy, it'd be the purple haired Derpy clone who brought the birds back. |

Because she has never been called Ditzy. Pinkamena has always been called Pinkie.
Ditzy is a pegasus who screwed up once. Maybe that screwup idea was carried over to Derpy once Derpy became so popular, but since Rainbow called Derpy Derpy, Ditzy is not another name for Derpy. We may even find Ditzy with her own lines one day for a brief thing to show they havn't just forgotten her. |
