This is a pretty good example of why this show is really well made. They don't use it for (no pun intended) "potty humor" they use it for subtle situational humor. Having it in the show at all shows they can present something as sensitive as bodily functions in a mature way. It seems to me this is exactly why it's on a level all people can appreciate. They're not dumbing it down like other childrens shows, and they're not using it for shock like adult shows. Nice balance.
