Look: General intolerance is fine as long as said intolerance doesn't harm the lives/livelihoods of other people. If it's going to hurt anyone, that's when you hang tolerance and make a stand...because you love the thing being hurt. "Love and Tolerance" Love > Tolerance. Okay? |

As I posted elsewhere: Do we lose any honor by killing the honorless, like the Taliban? Ghandi, the textbook definition of a loving tolerant pacifist, said of the Holocaust; that the Jews should (wish I could find the article, but it basically boiled down to) 'take the slaughter proudly and turn the other cheek,' because he didn't like fighting under any circumstance. Obviously, this is basically the one controversial and stupid thing he ever said. Obviously, it was the moral duty to destroy the Third Reich, even if it meant days of slaughter like D-Day.
