It's funny that after reviving him, except for battles he become useless. He isn't even required to be in the party at all times anymore. |

Yeah, even after reviving Crono, my main party has always been Magus, Robo, and Lucca.

Oh, wow. I remember this part of the game prett well...
Not because of anything in the game, but because the electricity in my house went out when I got to this scene. And when it came back on and I played back up to this part, the power went out again, in nearly the same part! |

He's still useful because of a lot of powerful Double Techs he can do, like Falcon Hit, Double Shock, and Ice Sword 2/Fire Sword 2. Also his ultimate weapon has a 70% crit rate which is just plain awesome. A lot of enemies at the end of the game are invulnerable to magic or absorb it, and he makes taking them down much easier. Plus Luminaire is actually the most powerful single Tech in the game if you play through enough to max out his magic with Tabs.
But yeah, if you need to take a lot of enemies out in one shot or deal a lot of magic damage against a boss, Omega Flare is the way to go. |

Well, yeah, I can easily take out Lavos Core with a team of Crono, Ayla, and Robo. Falcon hit repeatedly while Robo alternates healing and Uzzi Punch.
