Lovely work. The attention to detail, especially on the armor and eyes really pays off. I love the way you did her tail too, the night sky poking through her tail is amazing.
Constructive criticism: upon closer inspection, the flat expanse of crotch looks a little odd, and overall seems unnecessary to the visual balance of the piece. Its minor, but it draws attention because Luna's tail acts like a guide for the eye, spiraling the viewers attention inevitably to the center of the piece. In the future try to anticipate where the viewers attention is going to be drawn based on the composition and balance of your piece. If your work funnels your viewers eye to an exact zone like yours does, even minor mistakes become very noticeable if they reside in these attention 'hotzones'. |
