Original Poster's Comments: Hey everyone. In case you guys don't know, I'm the original poster and artist of the "My Little Fetus" image. I've read your comments on the original post, and I apologize sincerely (and profusely). I thought the idea of a pony baby still inside the mother's tummy would be cute and a good epitome of MIP life beginning, so I tried to create a combination of both cuteness and the intrigue of the unborn baby. Apparently, I've mostly failed on the first respect. That image was also made to help me cope after reading a particularly gruesome grimdark.
Anyways, here's a new image showing both the fetus the newborn. Hopefully, this will ease the mood surrounding my original image, and nullify most (if not all) perceptions that this is a grimdark image or something just waiting for a cloths hanger. Seriously, everypony (LOL)! It's almost like listening to the crew of a botched military operation (abort this, abort that). Please also note that this is not an OC attempt: I solely just want to accomplish the aforementioned two purposes. |

i think perhaps it would help if the fetus image was blurred and artifacted and such to look like an ultrasound
what people fail to realize is an ultrasound is a "romanticized" view of a baby and that inside the womb a fetus is a gross blob of flesh with scary eyes and lots of red, and that's what you see here. People don't understand why they're supposed to think it's cute, but if it were hidden behind the filter of an ultrasound, they'd probably be more receptive, and it'd seem less like "camera shoved inside womb" and more like "miraculous machine to see the baby from the outside" I guess I dont have a problem with it as is, just putting it out there |

...Don't ultrasounds kind of look like a cutaway of the baby (seeing bones and organs and whatnot)? The ones that look like a 3D image are really creepy and lumpy looking, too. |
