PPGs wanted to make them a couple, PPG grew jealous because their dad spent more time with her than with them, fortunately they broke up over her cat. (In what was a mythology gag for those viewers who even remembered to another episode where a cat tried to mind control the Prof.) It wasn't a particularly good plot. |

You do realize that Craig McCracken wrote that episode not Lauren Faust. Secondly, Lauren isn't working on the show any more.
