Aaaand she's dead.
Unless she's fished out of the sea pronto and taken to Sanguine, it'll take a whopping big Chekhov's whatever to save her. You don't recover from that. You just don't. At the very least, what a way to go. |

I almost feel like she SHOULD die. For the enormous levels of taint ravaging her body with cancer to actually become useful and heal her, that would be too easy. And we know the consequences of taking up Sanguine's offer. There was so much more she could have done, but it's better this way. |

I can't really decide if I want it to be the end or not.
On one hand, it would give the story the sense of "This isn't some storybook fairytale, twinkle-toes! Mortality can catch you at anytime! Just because you had goals doesn't mean you'll reach them!" At the same time, I want more Blackjack! |

Well, even if she survives it's kinda hard to fight the Wasteland and its horrors with a broken spine, no eyes, shattered legs and more tumors than you can shake a laser pistol at. Her only option is Sanguine, and that is basically the worst possible thing. (The Professor is out because she only had enough parts for herself) |

i call it:
pisces and capricorn dive her out the sea, the prof back at collegiate put her back together (cybernetics) and then stuff will happen. |

Except they've explicitly said several times that the Professor can't make the cybernetics Blackjack would need in time to do her any good. I'm right with you about Pisces and Capricorn, though. |

If you read tvtropes, you'll actually find out the next chapter, 33, is only the halfway point. So she survives somehow. And somehow still being able to see would make sense(and be miraculos). Maybe there's still some eye left for hydra? |
