This is a rant I PM'd to HeinousActsZX. He thought it would be a good idea to post it here, so...here it is.
Let me say a few things, though. 1. I am, in no way, shape, or form, defending Wes, and I seriously rage over his posts. I'm just post why I feel he's so reviled here. 2. While I'm in general opposed to trolling, I won't hold it against you if you do. Besides, the guy needs to understand that this is the Internet. If you post anything controversial, prepare to be flamed. 3. Please do NOT spam AleximusPrime's page because of this. I like the guy's work, and I really don't want to see the guy's inbox get flooded because of me. Still, feel free to check out his other work (some of which is already on here). It's good stuff. Huh...ok, now I need to go lie down before my give myself a stress attack. Oh, and here's your obligatory ponies:  |

Read the whole thing, and you're probably right. The part about you comparing his hypnotism to brainwashing, forced lobotomies and reeducation really strikes.
I've realized, that in particular is why I feel such intense hatred towards him, by which I mean a 100% loss of empathy, and desire to harm or kill. It's not out of "I don't like what you're writing/drawing", it's out of "You're a disgusting person, on a par with Stalin, not worthy of setting foot on this planet". |

This makes sense.
Both of them sort of share the same opinions, the difference though is that Alex doesn't shove his down everyone's throats or force the characters to behave how he wants through his OC. Wesdaaman has spammed several pics and stories of Spike/ *insert Rarity, Applebloom, etc here* and same sex shippings with his "opinion" and in his fics forces the characters to behave how he'd like through his Gary Stu/self-insert. That said, I think we should just ignore the griffin boy and move on. The less attention he gets the better for the fandom. |

I find it notworthy how quickly you switched from "love and tolerance" to "I can be as much of a bully as I want because this is the INTERNET and I feel like it". You act as if his bad behavior makes your bad behavior not only justified, but some sort of moral duty, when in fact it doesn't justify it at all. |

Yes, it's exactly as I described. You asked everyone to pick on him and acted like it was okay because it was somehow an immutable fact and not a result of your own actions. Being "generally opposed to" something doesn't count if you make an exception for no good reason. It just means you only do it when you feel like doing it, just like everyone you're supposedly opposed to. |

Well yeah, Rule 19 and stuff, the more you hate etc.
But I enjoyed reading it. Good little essay. I've never heard of the other guy and I don't care that much about Wes/Griffy. So I enjoyed reading it from a more neutral perspective. |

Generally I think it's best to ignore him...
Either he'll grow out of it eventually or he'll not, that's just the way things are. Mocking him is pointless and a waste of time better spent more productively. |
