It's going to be the CMC trying to get Big Mac and Cheerilee together in really obtuse ways, and neither of them being any the wiser. When they're figured out, the two will end up falling for each other anyway.
Also I remember reading somewhere that they might explain where babies come from. My bet would be Cheerilee tells them the story about the stork (maybe inadvertedly starting their shipping efforts) but does it in a "winking at the camera" way, meaning it's not the actual story just the one they tell kids. |

The cartoon has shown to us that status quo can't be taken by granted anymore.
Remember Spike's crush on Rarity? Yup, they made it public and she accepted it. (I'm interested to see where is THAT going to go.) And the Cakes, having children? That changes a lot of stuff as well. So a canon pairing sounds interesting and innovative for me, especially on a franchise famous for running on status quo. (As a personal comment, I would love to see Derpy making her habitual background cameo, but this time popping out from nowhere and stuffing a muffin down the Doctor's throat. Funny background event AND fanservice to the fandom.) |

Somehow I think the episode will go in the direction of, Big Mac and Cheerilee both seem lonely as all they do most of the time is their jobs, so they hatch a scheme to get them dating, which works. They get so into eachother they either begin neglecting their jobs or Cheerilee gets too involved in Applebloom's home life and she gets tired of it, both scenarios leading to her trying to get them away from each other. |

Websites are blocking content, today, as a way to raise awareness of a law that might pass so that people call their congresscritters to express their displeasure - hopefully enough to prevent its passage. If the website is doing this even for non-US residents, well, that's kind of foolish of them since someone in Hungary isn't really going to have any pull with the US Senate. But it's not SOPA/PIPA's fault yet. |

Press reset after every episode. I know you guys are trying to convince yourselves that this show is "2 deep 4 little girls" but seriously there is next to zero character/lore development. The only thing that gives the illussion of a consistent lore in the show is the obsessive fanbase keeping track and organising details. To give you en example: In Winter Wrap-up Ponyville is suppossedly hundreds of years old and in the Granny Smith episode is more recent that Granny's birth). |
