The circle is now complete.

That's the first, and hopefully last, time I've ever had to say that in my life.

Well, saying "Good Riddance" isn't the nicest ways of putting it. The man's done a lot for well, us.

Cyan, I love you as a fellow Brony, and I tolerate your opinion, but Episode III was one of the best movies of all time.

Phil, I respect your opinion, but I think that Episode III was too predictable to be good.
Seriously, that guy wearing black clothes from the beginning? Who would suspect he turns evil later?

Episode III had an amazing lightsaber battle that was not sped up.
That alone is enough to make me like it.
And I'll take any excuse to hear Liam Neesan's sexy voice.

Episode I: One of the biggest abominations of all time, let's pretend this movie never existed.
Episode II: Fanservice
Episode III: That was ok.

@825, I do not want to assume anything, and I do not mean to insult your intellegence, so take it in the best possible way when I ask that you did realize that it was a prequel and so there was no way to get around Anakin becoming evil, fighting Obi-wan, and burning most of his body in a volcano?

What was unpredictable was that Anikan himself killed Padmé. The emotion expressed by Ewan McGregor's acting was amazing. The score was the best work of John William's lauded career, and the lightsaber choreography was both thrilling and expressive.

Most of episode II was awful, awful shit. But the high-altitude car chase at the beginning and the Yoda vs. Dooku fight scene were both quite awesome.

@796: Uh, no it's not. This is an opinion held by Star wars fans with their heads stuck in their assess who can't accept change.

@825: ...You can't be fucking serious. You have to be trolling. What part of "PREQUEL trilogy" did you miss? It wasn't supposed to be a surprise you dipshit.

I suppose the main upside to this is maybe some of the dumber fanboys will leave him alone-

Ah who I am I kidding?

Here's my problem with this guy. He couldn't say no.
Honetsly Star Wars was good I don't see the point in making prequels and releasing new revisions of the movies all the time he could be another Spielberg, Scorssese or Coppola, instead he decided to stay with the same trick.
And Where's my Willow sequel???????

It's been a few years since I've seen the prequel trilogy, but I remember loving the pod racing part of Episode I. It spawned a great N64 game, too. And a couple of good Lego kits.

Great design for a villian, sadly he barely talk and he's few screen time, hell even Jar Jar has more than twice the time

Episode 1-3 weren't that much different to 4-6. Just more CGI.

For those who haven't seen it go watch the Mr Plinkette (Red Letter Media) reviews of Star Wars Episodes 1 2 & 3. It explains pretty much everything wrong with those movies.

Yeah, Yoda being a pimp was the only things really worth remembering in those movies. For me, the Extended Universe books are the true cannon: Boba Fett is from a violently hellbent warrior tribe and shoots his way out of the sarlacc, not a fucking clone.

"Episode I through III suck ass, this is an inarguable fact."
How can an opinion be a fact? Fact is something like "Episode I through III received mixed to negative reviews."

As for the post, kinda reeks of Nostalgia Nut. I myself hope Lucas relies on others instead of doing it himself. He seriously needs an editor.
