Anon 600 AND 654 here: I'm sorry for going off on a small-ish rant here, but....
Sure, Pip says that Luna's his favorite princess (or something to that effect) when he is clearly VERY young, compared to the mane cast and maybe even the CMC. I'd approximate him to be about... seven-eight years old? I'd like to think at that age, kids are blown away by rather mundane things, if it seems awesome enough. Sure, his admitting to liking Luna the most of the two princesses (chances are that he hasn't even seen Celestia in person) is charming, but also very much a thing a child does. Nothing less, and certainly nothing more. Yes, I probably come across as butthurt right now, so be it. I am just rubbed the wrong way when fandoms take an element and runs the whole mile with it. |

I think shell just turn Twilight to the dark side.
Afterwards Celestia will take twilights daughter as a student and so on... I mean its completely logical from what we seen so far in the series. |

684 here: I'd say that they are the same age, but unlike Twilight, Pip has no evidence of characterisation outside of being "the kid" that people can attach to.
