Apart from the questionable text you must admit that the costume is truly incredibly made.

And please forget about CSI that show is just a load of bullshit.

Don't try to defend the furry stereotypes... I've been one for eleven years and been to plenty of conventions. Oh, the shit I've seen . . .

I've also been on a few conventions and there are some fucks in there but like I said its a minority among minority. You should know that...
Saying that were all like that is like saying all black people are ghetto.

You know... if every furfag was as willing to admit the outwordly faggotry of the fanbase as you are you would collectively be more respected or at least considerably less hated in the internet. Unfortunately most furries that "are not yiffers" are like Millfox (like really... "-fox"? could you make yourself anymore of a stereotype?) never losing an opportunity to cry fursecution, create drama and throw sand into our eyes to hide the bullshit of his fellow fetishists.

I am a hater of your fanbase and you have every reason to be defensive, but I genuinely sympathize with you as an individual. I can imagine or I don't have to given the current fanbase of MLP how frustating it must be to carry a stigma for your fetish/preferences just because people with similar interests had made complete ass-hats of themselves.

It takes courage to admit to outsiders that people you are grouped with are idiots and for this you have my respect.

My friend encountered a fully loaded 'suiter at the dance. Guy was running all over, stumbling into people. My friend had a tough time corralling him from dragging some girl's fursuit badge everywhere. The drunk was having a hard time seeing the clear resemblance of her suit and the badge.

Myself, I had to pull some stray vodka bottles lying on the floor and put them in the trash. That would have scared the volleyball kids in the exhibit hall next door. I know reality's a bitch, but...

@Anon863
I'm not going to say that I haven't done some pretty freaky shit myself, but the "fetish" aspect is really not what it's all about for me, and I doubt it is for most furs... I simply find the idea of anthropomorphic animals a pleasant escape from reality. Does meddling in that sort of interest inspire a lot of people toward things of a more perverted nature? ... Probably. Probably...

I imagine the pony fandom will eventually head in a similar direction in time... When the furries were born back in the 80's they were probably more innocent than the bronies were when they started out, having already been tainted by the twisted side of furry intermingling from the beginning...

Huh, do people realise that we are equally hated more by the current generation that is our generation? The many teenagers in the US and internationally who hear of us consider us to be weirdos and fur-like guys.
Girls laugh and the guys who like the show are forced to hide because of accepting on the internet would open them to persecution from people around them.
Look people we're essentially in the same boat as the furfags, we're only 10 feet from being shammed by some media corp or persecuted even worse by FOX news. Look at this and tell me what these kids think of us http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/01/teens-react-to-my-little-pony.html
These teens laugh and think that the MLP community is fucking weird, or trolls in the sense of one of them, we are called the cancer of the internet by the current generation and it's quite real. We call furries no better when we're essentially considered the same? Where the hell have we gone wrong?

@2737 We didn't do anything wrong. It comes naturally when describing a group that's intrinsically defined as "guys who like ponies". The only real way to get a hater to change their opinion besides the unlikely possibility of getting them to watch the show (and realize that it's 2000% better than the previous girly fru-fru generations and even more so than the brain-sucking shit on TV nowadays) is to just show how awesome the community really is. E.g. all the bronies who make da muziks, artists, tumblrs, EQD, YTPs, kyrospawn etc. Asnd peaking of cancer...

IMO we're pretty much the "ascended" of /b/. The well-cultured, talented, thoughtful intellectuals standing on top of a giant pile of shit. As seen previously with the whole chanology thing and even broNYCon we're pretty strong united, but together, we're just random foals caught in the stupidity of modern society.

Join the fucking herd.

I laugh when people give a shit what other people think. I would wear a pony suit in a heartbeat and make a complete ass out of myself where appropriate. I would rather be hated for being myself and having fun than liked because I lie about what I enjoy and try to suck up to people I shouldn't give 2 shits about.

Liking a decent children's show is normal.

Making porn of it is inevitable and mostly hillarious.

Being a source of escapism, shitty fan-creations and overanylizing an inconsistent lore (OF A SHOW FOR PREBUSCENT GIRLS) is sad but it's pretty much the inevitable decay of a fanbase.

Making the show a fetish fuel and dressing up as stuffed animals is taking things TOO FUCKING FAR!

anon 292;

who are you to tell anyone what's "too far?" From what I understand this fursuiter is a fan of the show who's girlfriend wore an AJ suit. I am willing to bet they are having more fun wearing their costume and playing around than you are bitching about it.

Oh are you lot STILL complaining about Furries? I think the Furries and the Bronies have something more important to worry about. SOPA. Let's stop our complaining about each other for five-fucking minutes and shake our hoofs with their paws (Or wings or claws) now really ISN'T the time to have a go at a different fanbase.

lol. I doubt most furrys think that. Even if they did (which I've yet to meet one that does) it's still more rational than religion.

Isn't that pretty much what binds a fanbase together in the first place? ಠ_ಠ

Pretty sure the whole "brony" thing wouldn't exist if all we did with our love for the show was simply sit at home and enjoy it...
