Yeah, "Pony Joes's" doughnut shop is a pretty direct metaphor for a bar...sanitized for the under-8 audience.
I figure Dash, Pinkie & Applejack would jump straight in, getting competitive with how many shots they can down. At first she'd try to stay polite & sophisticated but Rarity would get drawn into the game the instant someone dared her. Fluttershy would nurse the first drink but pick up steam as the night went on. She'd spend the whole night denying she was drunk, even when she couldn't stand up straight. Twilight might agree to do "just one"..."okay, maybe two"..."these are pretty good, how about another." She is #1 most likely to puke. |

@194 I was originally going to add Spike in the far right corner reaching for a glass of wine, curious to taste it, as Twilight is currently occupied.
@215 I've always had problems with sameface, but I've been working on it lately. If you'll look closely at say Pinkie's face, she has round perky cheeks and a small, round chin to reflect her gitty happy nature, while Applejack has a more angular jaw and stout cheeks. Fluttershy h as the roundest face, Rarity has a long, ponted face, etc. I tried, but I guess I didn't do a good enough job. I'll keep trying. And really? CAD?? That's just plain hurtful, man. |

Bum Tickley's art is horrid, his character design is unbelievably bland, uninspired with no thought put into it, he doesn't seem to know a thing about basic human anatomy, his color palette choices are boring, pale and washed out looking, and don't forget the sameface issue mentioned above. (There's a reason CAD is referred to as B^U by everyone.)
Oh, an he doesn't even actually friggin' draw his characters, he copy/pastes pieces of them together from a reference file he has in Photoshop. So yeah, being compared to the likes of him is one of the few things I genuinely take a fence to. But, if I really AM that bad, I guess I deserve it. |
