My guess is that people just get upset because people push and insist sexual orientations with the cast too much to the point where bronies just don't want to hear about it, and would rather just let ponies be ponies. |

If I wasn't unsettlingly familiar with Ponibooru, I would be surprised by the reactions, but I just find them funny. Yamino wasn't attempting to make any kind of statement, she just noticed the similarities between the flags and various ponies' colourings and, inspired by all the times Rainbow Dash has been compared to the rainbow flag, decided to make this.
That said, I am quite interested in reading something about asexual Octavia or trans spa twins (one or both). Fortunately, there is already Romance Reports for bisexual Twilight. |
