It's hard work, being a parasprite mom.
The individual births arn't so bad. They sting a bit and after a dozen or so you start feeling like somepony took a hole puncher to your hide, but you get used to it. Feeding all of your children, that's where things get hard. They're too frightened to leave you yet, so they swarm along, eating anything even mildly eddible that gets close. Doesn't leave much for you to eat, really. Gotta keep moving, though. Always gotta find more food for the kids, 'cause if you can't find food for them.... (You get's ta be their 'appy meal! Whee!) |
