^^^its psychological. Because the nature of the fandom makes it easy for an observer to assume that members are gay, and we are aware of that fact, so we acticly push aginst it to show that is not the case. It is essentially the same thing with our furry hate. |

I'm gay and I don't find this offensive. I have seen real homophobia in this fandom, but not nearly as much as in most other fandoms or places on or off the Internet. If you don't know, the image is a reference to the oft-quoted "OP is a faggot." I don't think anyone takes it seriously. |

the term "faggot" used on the internet is a term of recognition. I think it was first used to try to be offensive but it just grew on most people. |
