antagonist. |

Why do we keep giving a flying fuck about this kid or anything he writes? |
| Theopticals #874483 6 months ago |
I'm actually pretty relieved that my computer isn't able to load the image properly. |
| dudemang #874485 6 months ago |
^ Isn't it obvious? We must exemplify him and show the world this isn't what we want pony fans to be. |
| dudemang #874488 6 months ago |
^ Directed at Zincy. |

@dude, Making an example...of an autistic? I mean, I'm a heartless bastard and even I think thats over doing it. |
| dudemang #874503 6 months ago |
^ Well, hey, it's not really my thing either, we're just going along with what Xuncu said. |
| Arne #874505 6 months ago |
I really have no idea how to feel about this guy anymore. Sometimes I just want him to fade in obscurity because I'm sick of seeing his shit... and sometimes I want to see him get constantly trolled because he's unknowingly asking for it.
Damn it, brain! Why can't you be consistent? |
| HeinousActsZX #874515 6 months ago |
I know I should ignore it, but that thing about Lyra and Bon Bon cuts me deep.
We don't know if they're gay or not, but if they are, forcing someone to go against their nature is horrible. It makes me sick to my stomach. |
| MisterSeven #874517 6 months ago |
Right, before I was joking. Now, I could kill this man with a great big bloody smile on my face the entire time. |
| Zincy #874528 6 months ago |
Most of what he said is interesting. But an implied Locke/Rousseau social contract thing that supposedly exists in the fandom is bullshit. |
| Zincy #874532 6 months ago |
Mass Ninjaing... that was directed at Dude |
| PVRyohei #874533 6 months ago |
@Arne
Same here. |
| dudemang #874537 6 months ago |
^ Nevertheless, he's got at least 5 named users and some anonymii backing him (the majority of the internet), so he's apparently right and we're all justified in doing this. |
| Zincy #874557 6 months ago |
Hmm, I suppose he is asking for all the shit he gets... Well, I might not condone this sort of behavior, but I won't interfere either. Proceed |
| Theopticals #874559 6 months ago |
Phil is a hard man to please. |
| Zincy #874568 6 months ago |
I still don't buy that social contract nonsense that Xuncu talked about (at least not the one in play here, I'm a huge fan of Locke). |
| Roboshi #874576 6 months ago |
This is the thing that made me really dislike him.
The idea of "curing" gayness is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard and some of the "camps" set up to try and do this are boarderline torture centres. And this guy thinks this is a ok. |
| dudemang #874580 6 months ago |
^ Neither do I, but it doesn't matter either way. |
| dudemang #874583 6 months ago |
^Again, directed at Zincy.
But I guess it could work with Roboshi's, too. |
| Abou #874609 6 months ago |
He's a wind-up merchant, surely? |
| MisterSeven #874615 6 months ago |
Do we know where he lives IRL? |
| dudemang #874617 6 months ago |
^ Who, Wes?
Probably not. |
| dudemang #874620 6 months ago |
@MisterSeven
You can find it, but given your last comment, I'm not sure it'd be the wisest thing to do. I'm certainly not going to be responsible for that. |
| MisterSeven #874627 6 months ago |
I'm guessing he's American, meaning I'm separated by ocean and government red-tape. Correct? |
| Anonymous #874652 6 months ago |
At least he tries to be original and creates his own characters and stories - not like that infamous "artist" who draws comics about himself and a recolor of a famous company mascot, beating up people who rubbed him off the wrong way,
Even the ideas behind his stories are that bad. Killer insect people? An evil shadow demon guy? It's a shame that he isn't a better writer because that stuff sounds far more interesting than the usual "Rainbow-Dash-breaks-her-wings" or "Two-ponies-are-in-love-with-eachother-but-to-shy-to-admit-it-and-worying-what-their-friends-will-think-of-it.” And is his character real such a Mary Sue? I haven’t read his stories but he doesn't seem to be almighty and all-knowing. Keep in mind that it's not the backstory or the powers than turn a character into a Mary Sue. It's the way how the character is written. |
| MisterSeven #874655 6 months ago |
Yep, United States. Guess someone else will do it eventually. They could probably pass it off as justified fungicide. |
| MisterSeven #874660 6 months ago |
*homicide.
But that works, too. |
| dudemang #874713 6 months ago |
Anonymous said: Nope. Sorry. He's just as bad. No one will convince Ponibooru otherwise. |
| Anonymous #874772 6 months ago |
@dudemang: I still think he's not that bad and some people are just trying very hard to make it looks like the CWC of FiM. How people here have judged this guy before even reading one of his stories?
Sure I don't like his opinions about same-sex or interspecies relations are questionable, but I don't like the people who write Clopfics about Spike or the CMC's either. You don't have to like everyones opinion about sex and FIM. |

I talked with my storywriter friend at the con. He said he's had to do a total overhaul of all of his stories because of Griffy. His caracter's sorta like a Mary Sue, but he's more in the background. Instead of doing everything himself, he gets some of his friends to pick some of his other friends to do certain things.
In his story, Spike finds a dragon scale while relaxing, making his little dolls. He reads the "I Wish, I wish, with all my heart..." spell. He gets sent to Dragonland, and Twi sees what happened, as she was bringing him a snack box. Twi panics. Meanwhile, in Dragonland, a dragon pops up and asks Spike to help to look for their latest dragon scale guest. She doesn't see it's him right off. They chat a little, while the native dragon freaks out looking for the new guests. She's got to get to them before they get real scared, and help them exit, if they want to. Spike wants to know why. "What would you do if you find yourself in a strange land surrounded by strange dragons?" "Uhh, I'd talk to them, I guess." Turin then arrives and uses his scanner, and discovers Spike is the new guest. He teaches Spike how to use the return spell, and gives him a tracking gadget to locate Spikes home, if Spike wants to. He agrees. Back in Equestria, the main six are crying, since Spike seemed to have been swallowed up by swirling energy. Celestia prods at the dragon scale box's contents, unsure what to make of the unusual energy contained within the box and scale. Spike then appears before them, and there's an emotional scene. The tracking device disappears, and a square portal slides up. Well, what happens after that has been changed completely. He says it'll take a while to do the overhaul. |

@#874485
That's not how the internet works.
Well it worked ONCE with Chris Chan but Griffy is not anywhere near Chris' league. |
| Anonymous #875103 6 months ago |
@#874576
"Curing gayness" no matter how retarded is a very popular concept in religious organisations and even homosexuals are voluntarily trying these futile "rehabiliation". Stop being blindly intolerant towards homophobes to protect your internet fame. |
| Robomorons #875307 6 months ago |
@ Anon #874576
You stop being such a prissy little white knight and realize that you are protecting a psychopath. |
| BattleGT #875329 6 months ago |
This whole thing is stupid REALLY stupid |
| Anonymous #876234 6 months ago |
At leats he's consistent and maybe Griffy will learn tolerance one day ... ... ... ... lol. |
| Anonymous #877033 6 months ago |
....how old is this kid? Seriously, he can't be all that old considering the quality of his work and drawings. Yes, his stuff sucks. Yes, when you put stuff like this out there for others to see, you kinda open yourself up to harassment. Really though, I've seen way the hell worse. This barely even registers on the shit meter compared to other stuff. And as far as the gay stuff goes, you're asking a kid questions about an adult subject that he probably hasn't even had to think about before. While we're at it, we might as well ask him about Griffy's perspective on abortion, labor union laws, and foreign policy tactics. He's still a kid (I think). A little ignorance on certain subjects can be excused here and there. |

Not gonna lie...I find this Wes guy to be sort of fascinating. In a vile sort of way, yes. He seems so very backward. |
