Golby and Luna... both have strong bonds with the Moon, both fought against their brother/sister while being controlled by a greater evil, product of the weakness of their hearts, both returned to their senses after the intervention of the heroes. Last year, a lot of people thought Luna was going to be an atoner, like Golbez... turns out she wasn't (not that it's a bad thing). |

Golbez fits as both Luna and NM. First he was Evil Brainwashed and Suited in Evil Armor, then He was good and Armorless, thanks to his sibling and friends. Cecil had to overthrow the old evil king and defeat his sibling as well, much like Celestia. |
