if you want the current situation, SOPA has been shelved indefinately in the house (which while it COULD come back nearly always means the bill is dead) however PIPA although battered and losing support is still moving through the Senate.
Focus on PIPA, but don't let up on SOPA even if we do win this thing in the end never stop the pressure. don't get cocky but it DOES look like we are in fact winning this. |

It is a tremendous shame that the senator from my state is a sponsor of this bill. It is also a shame that she will be easily reelected this year with nary a peep. It is an even greater shame that the only alternatives to her are even worse. |
