I highly doubt this was an intentional pony reference. Ursa Major and Ursa Minor are both actual constellations. |

The lead designer is possibly a brony? I'm kind of convinced. I've played the game and the team could've used any kind of constellation in the sky if they wanted to, but they picked the ursa major and minor. I may be over analyzing this but you never know. |

Those are normal constellations. It's not a pony reference unless the lead designer confirms it himself/herself. |

Ursa Minor's tail is Polaris, the North Star. You use it to navigate. |
