Anyone who has been under that kind of preassure knows how hard you crack. Pinkie knows that no one takes her seriously, that no one think she's up for the task, it wouldn't surprise me if the Cakes would have asked the Cutie Mark Crusaders to babysit their babies before they asked Pinkie. She is pushing Twilight out of the door and refuses help, not because she feels it would be too much with another person in the house, but because she wants to show everypony that is doubting her, and prove to herself, that she can be responsible too and doesn't need help to do something that everypony else she know can do easily.
The babies winning over her is for her the stamp of incompetence that is being put on her. |
