Let's be honest here, look at Mrs Cake. Does she seem like the sort of pony that could actually get some? Of course not. |

Genetics. Learn it |
| Anonymous #866609 6 months ago |
^^ Oh come on. What's more statistically likely... that paternal and maternal genetic throwbacks from multiple generations ago BOTH happen to be born as fraternal twins IN THE SAME PREGNANCY, or that some of the other stallions in Ponyville have been enjoying a nice slice of Mrs. Cake? |

come on, Lium, who wouldn't kill for a slice of good cake? |
| YenaMuffin #866627 6 months ago |
You know, since we're not ponies, we don't have their sense of beauty. For all we know, Mrs. Cake is a freaking Fertility Goddess in the eyes of the colts. |

@609 Simultaneous fatherhood seems less likely than the former.
Anyway. It was interesting to learn that the types can interbreed. Since you can't get alicorns, one wonders whether unicorn or pegasus genes are dominant over the other (perhaps you get an earth pony!), and what this might say about the indefinite future of Equestria as the genes diffuse. One thing's for sure: if pegasi can have unicorn or earth pony babies, you know there ain't no maternity ward in Cloudsdale General. "Congratulations, Ms. Sunshine, it's a boy! ...unicorn! Woops." |

Well, considering this is an alien world that is the setting for a children's cartoon...I'd say the former. |

@#866673
"Congratulations, Ms. Sunshine, it's a boy! ...unicorn! Woops." OK, THAT made me laugh. XD I think the whole gene thing is really interesting, and people who would even stop to think that Mrs. Cake is getting around with other stallions...NO. Just...no. This is a cartoon meant for all ages. Remember that. |

I getting tired of seeing all this speculation about Mrs. Cake being unfaithful (mainly because Rayo keeps bringing up a fanfic that he wrote where his self-insert screws her). If we can believe that a united nation of ponies, unicorns, and pegasi was founded when the servants of each faction's leader got along and drove away icy wind spirit horses that feed off of hate, then why do we have such a hard time understanding genetics according to a throw-away line? |

Not only they're a unicorn and a pegasus, they're also trolls and are super talented... MOLESTIA IS THE FATHER! |

Canon disagrees with your view of how pony genetics work? Obviously you should make your own shit up that involves ponies being adulterous, cause that's not being desparate at all. |

So im not the only one who uses the word "Whorse".
And come on people, in season one they said "the juice has been spiked!". For season two they have been much more adventurous, to hint at cheating, as I see it... is not that big a stretch. |

things that are worth noting:
1) we've known interbreeding worked since someone asked faust about it back in like... december 2010. 2) in the real world, genetics is a usually a whole lot more complex than high school TT Tt tt stuff; it's completely normal to have two blue-eyed parents with a green-eyed baby and a brown-eyed baby. |

also both foals' coat color look a lot more like dad's than mom's |

Good Celestia, people, I just made this thing and the other one as a joke... I was KIDDING. No serious offense against Mrs. Cake or anypony else was meant. |
