It's called association.
I like Ponies, but i wouldn't associate myself as a brony... frankly cause it's weird to say, and alot of people has fucked up that term for me, especially on THIS site. I sorta still think being called a "brony" is like being called a "Faggot" when you're gay. Soo being called a Faggot Brony, is like being called a gay pony fan. except... less nice. |

I'd like to renig my statement a month ago that "brony" is a pejorative. It simply means you're a fan of FIM. I won't deny that the definition has somewhat changed over the course of time. But it still holds the same basic defintion. |

Brony means one's a fan of MLP FiM that is outside the target demographic. That's it. It's just that some people act in a way that puts a negative view on the word. |
