It's funny but if I remember correctly, we came up with the name "Carrot Cake" for Mr. cake some time ago, now it's canon. |

I think you're right, NJ. But I think it also led to a few "Carrot Top is their daughter" arguments as well.
I do like them addressing each other properly, though. Seeing so many issues of the Dandy and Beano and having people call their partners "Mum" and "Dad" as names gets a bit wearing. |

they already had those names for a long time, but they were called "mr" and "mrs" by the mane cast, presumably because they're older.
Twilight calling them Carrot and Cup seemed very mature :O |

^I had a quick look for the old thread that I saw it in, but no such luck. It wasn't a huge debate (definitely not as sprawling as the "is Octavia actually Pinkie's sister?") but it went on for an evening or two. |
