I commented on this piece to bring to peoples attention that over the course of me scouring ponibooru for art, I've noticed that someone or some people have been systematically vandalizing the tags on artwork for commercial purposes. Its scattered all over ponibooru, and its alot more extensive then I first initially thought.
The tag vandalizing basically guarantees that the artwork becomes virtually untraceable when searched through normal channels, unless you stumble across it by total accident, or had the luck to favorite it before the tags got vandalized. Its been going on for a long time, and some of the images hit are not even a week old. They look like this: this is one example below. I'll be wiping the tags, reverting them to TagMe. <a was the first large dump found, but there are likey more hidden tags like this scattered across ponibooru. If there are any mods on Ponibooru, they need to be aware of this, its been going on under their noses, all over fucking ponibooru, uncontested for god-knows how long. |
