Like what? I only remember Trixie saying NEIIIIGH-sayers. |
| Anonymous #859623 6 months ago |
Because it was good, and good things have been banned in Season Two.
They disappeared when Faust left, sorry to say. |

I don't remember anything other than the occasional bray.... |

In "Applebuck Season" Applejack neighed when she fell asleep from exhaustion. And then in "A Dog and a Pony Show" Rarity made a kind of burring noise at the Diamond Dogs. There has to be more than that too, besides the Trixie quote. |
| Anonymous #859636 6 months ago |
Yeah, there really wasn't much. Trixie's "neigh-sayers" is the only thing that really stands out in my mind, and I can't think of anything the Mane 6 said that qualifies. |

I think the TC meant the actual horse neighing sounds occasionally.
That said, you still do hear some of that in this season too. It's hilarious when it happens so unexpectedly. Suddenly you hear a HOARS sound out of nowhere for comedic effect. |

Skimmed through Applebuck Season, couldn't find anything of the sort. Could you be more specific when it is? Applejack is nodding off almost constantly in that episode. And the "burr" sound effect from A Dog and Pony Show (shortly after the whining for those interested) seemed more like a sound effect than as if it was supposed to literally be made by Rarity (like Big Mac with Smarty Pants in Lesson Zero). They're like the sheep sound effect, I think. They're not actually making sheep noises, it's a stylistic/joke thing. At least, that's my interpretation. |

THE LITTLE HORSE NOISES ARE SO CUTE |

Roboshi will fave this one anyway. |
| Anonymouz #859676 6 months ago |
Big Mac did in Lesson Zero.
Although I'm guessing its because of the lack of adventure episodes. They just don't have the opportunity to use that effect yet. |
| Anonymous #859677 6 months ago |
I wish they happened more often. Needs more horse puns, too. |
| Anonymous #859691 6 months ago |
They're becoming more anthro, maybe? Or maybe we just haven't given them a chance. |

Check the part where Applejack does a double take when she realizes she took the wrong path by finding Spike/Pinkie in their balloon. Applejack does a horsey sound. |

Also Rainbow Dash in Over a Barrel @ 10:28. |

Current count
Season 1 - Over a Barrel (10:28), Applebuck Season (8:20), A Dog and Pony Show (16:57), Boast Busters (3:25) Season 2 - Lesson Zero (18:14), Hearth's Warming Eve (2:44), Luna Eclipsed (10:30) Considering season 2 is only about half over, I think we can call this myth more or less busted. |

HER SOFT NEIGHS HER GIRLISH WHICKERS THOSE FREAKY HORSEY QUEEFS WHEN MATING
ALL IN COMIC SANS More seriously, the animal noises seom to onl come when a character is irritated, asleep, angry/contemptuous, criticising and dismissing others as detracting from their oh so great and powerful place in the spotlight, unduly besotted with a child's doll, panicked, or being forced out of doors in an off-screen BigBallOfViolence via sfx. They highlight fairly negative or out-of-character emotions. (Cows in FiM moo. In the case of Muuriella, it's the equivalent of a frog in the throat, and she carries on a normal conversation after a cough.) (The @goat noises (I'm sure they know this) are just funny. Youtube "fainting goats" for the reasonwhy.) |
| Anonymous #865995 6 months ago |
It was hardly noticeable to begin with, maybe they just want to pick their moments instead of throwing them in randomly because, 'lol their ponies'. |
