.mkv is a video file type that is only useful for things with subtitles or duel audio. Besides that they can supposedly compress the file size but I have never seen any significant difference. But the worst part is that most video players won't even read them correctly. I can never find 720p rips that aren't .mkv, but good thing I've learned to convert my own. |

Just get CCCP and thats it (well disabling window's built-in directshow might be needed *search "windows 7 preferred directshow filter tweak tool" for win7 users* for people who get black screen on WMP 11+)
