^Well, there is two of us now. I play mostly Call of Cthulhu and 7th sea, but I still enjoy 3.0/3.5 edition from time to time. |

Pathfinder (3.75?) is not so bad, they ironed out a lot of the wrinkles from 3.5 and made a completely new setting. Very awesome, a lot of fun to play and no piles and piles of errata every few weeks.
Must .... resist .... urge to ..... laugh at Wizards ...... HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH......! ................... BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Yeah but here's hoping 5th Edition doesn't, you know, shit all over everything like the 4th did. Now I need to go and watch Season 1 again to get my Love and Tolerance back again.... |

Pointless comic. Given enough time with any tabletop system anyone can find enough "flaws" to warrant calling it a "mess."
If you think the 3e to 4e conversion was radical then you weren't around for the switch from 2e to 3e. Every edition has its fans and detractors. Each one caters to a slightly different demographic within the tabletop community. Play the edition/system you prefer and let everyone else play what they like. You know, love and tolerate and such. Edition wars are just plain stupid. |
