I feel dirty contributing to the "rants as pics" phenomenon, but this has been bugging the hell out of me.

Yes, we do. The picture shows humans thus we tag it with the "human" tag.

I think we should use "human" for humans that where not ponies and "humanized" when it's a pony turned human.

Great, another raging crusader who is going to remove all the "humanized" tags and replace with humans.

I guess it is hard to understand that "humanized" tag exist as THE reason to separate pictures with actual humans and humanized ponies. What #855185 said.

was it hypocritical to say that and then tag this with human and humanized?

What? No, I meant that we should have humanized ponies listed as "humanized" and normal humans tagged as "humans".

I always add both of the tags on my uploads because if I only do one, (the "humanized" tag), the other gets added anyway, like 10 seconds after the picture is uploaded.
But I agree, it's redundant.

Agreed. Humanized should only be used for human version of ponies, Human(s) should only be used for humans who are not also ponies.

I like how this is tagged Human and Humanized even though none of which are contained in said 'image'

I started typing "makes the possibility of searching for pics with humans that weren't originally ponies more difficult" but ended up changing the wording. Unfortunately, I somehow missed the "makes" when backspacing.

Regardless, I filter both out... or at least try to... the filter doesn't work for some reason.

Is there a way to search for "humans" while not including pictures tagged as "humanized?"

Put a minus sign (hyphen) in front of the tag to filter it out. In this case, "human -humanized". You're welcome.
