I've never seen Doctor Who.
Not once.
I should probably see what the fuss is about, but I don't know where to start.

Series 6...What was wrong with the 6th Doctor again?
I mean he isn't the 8th or 11th doctor so he can't be that bad right?

so i've always wondered

If in the UK they call what I know as a season a series

What do they call what I know as a series. The entirety of the show?

^I'm pretty sure by "Series 6", they're referring to the 11th Doctor

And it's more of a mixed response to it.

That was my reaction when the Ninth Doctor needed to regenerate. But sure not ever Doctor is perfect but either way their all epic.

Series 6 was awesome in my opinion. Series 3 is still the best though.

David Tennant was the best Doctor ever.
Matt Smith is good too, but there's no comparation. (And he is too young for the role.)

technically this was a season.

A season is 12-26 episodes
A series is 6 episodes.

It all depends on how much a company is willing to spend, usually the BBC spends very little but Doctor who is given quite a bit to be awesome generally.

But this series/season was lots of fun, and with some absolutely briliant episodes.

Sure it had a dull episode here and there, but that's what every season got.

So far Season 2 had the best ending (Daleks Vs Cybermen) while season 3 was the best overall.

I consider the first season to be underrated as so many fans joined just for tennant.

I missed a Dr.Who debate...damn. I liked Series six, and I've been watching since the damn 5th doctor. Tennant was my personal fav though, he had just the right mix of emotions that i would expect the Doctor to have. All the whimsy and insanity, but with the deep brooding that his darkened past would be sure to bring. Not to mention his sanity slippages were scary " I AM TIME-LORD VICTORIOUS!"

Series Six was the last one, right? Loved it! Every single episode was excellent, and there was a perfect mix of comedy, action, drama, and the customary mindfuckery customary for a proper Who serial. It was a fantastic season.

The pair in the pic works shipwise, though. We need fics for this new guy, the brown one's getting old.

Series 6 was really good in my opinion. It had many great episodes and the way the first 2 episodes started it was a great rush.

And yeah, the 1st series is REALLY underrated, Eccleston was a great Doctor and it had a lot of great episodes.

Ea...i could never get behind Eccleston, which is why I thought the reboot was doomed to fail. He got better with time...

I never said he was bad, just that no one pays attention to doctors 1-8. Remembreance of the Daleks is one of the best serials ever.

Oh yes! Still, of the classic series I love Peter Davison the most, he was such a great Doc and had one of the best serials out of the classic series alongside Tom Baker.

The only Davison I've seen is Earthshock and Timecrash. :( I have Caves of Androzani and The Five Doctors on my "to see" list, but have become obsessed with sontaran stories after listening to Big Finish Audio's Heroes of Sontar (incidently also a 5th Doctor adventure)
