There is a simple explanation to that: Pi is on sugar hype and AJ's curse is cider, of course. There are no unicorns or pegasi in Equestria - just hallucinations. |

Earth ponies would probably be Equestria's future if magic slowly ebbed. Barring that, however, as they're unlikely to be able to interbreed, the species will each exploit their own niche and continue well in to the future. |

There's enough visible ambient magic in Equestria, as well as the controlled magic like the Elements, that Pegasi and Unicorns could probably be jump-started if they started to fade out. |
